PTE Home A1:

  • A beginner-level English test that is accepted by the UK Home Office for several family and work visas.
  • PTE Home A1 measures your English speaking and listening skills at CEFR(Common European Framework of Reference for language proficiency) Use PTE Home A1 Level A1. You receiv either a 'pass' or 'fail' result.
  • Use PTE Home A1 for the following visas

PTE Home A2:

• The PTE Home A2 test is for anyone who is already living in the UK and needs an extension to their A1 visa.
• A2 is the right test for you if you want to extend a visa for 'Spouse/partner' or 'Parent of a dependent' after 2.5 years, and you need to certify that you can communicate in English at CEFR* level A2.

• PTE Core is ideal for people who wish to work, migrate, or seek permanent residency in Canada, and will be recognized by the Canadian Government (IRCC) for all economic visa categories.
